Okie needs to win, that way they are a more quality win for Okie State next week, and fresher on the voters' minds

Many critics don't give them enough credit but iowa st started off real good. That first lost demoralized them imo.

Well you see...Iowa state would jump from 57th in the computer polls to 35th, thus giving okie lite a .247689 bump because of playing Iowa state.
The loss would drop OU from 8th to 15th, bringing their computer score down .14825, thus making okie lites win over them slightly less impress.
So basically your answer is....I have no fricking clue. You'll have to ask lsumatt.

I think it hurts. Ok State really needs to impress people with a win over OU to jump Bama - and if OU is perceived as a team on a downward spiral, that won't help.
Ok State losing to a 7-5 instead of 6-6 Iowa State on the other hand only helps marginally.

I mean it helps and that was my first reaction. But Ok State needs voters to say "Holy shite, Ok State just beat an awesome OU team in a game deciding the Big12 championship" not "hey that Iowa State loss a few weeks ago wasn't quite as bad as we thought"
