When an athlete has excelled at one level and then underperformed at the next level there can be a legitimate reason other than "overrated".
I remember the Saints talking about Devery having a rough couple of first years and it really not making sense for the Bluegrass Miracle hero to underperform so badly. When the Saints decided to really try and pinpoint the reason why, they determined he needed to turn his head around a half second earlier than he'd been doing. He needed that spilt second to see the ball better.
Something was up with Quinn; hope they found it.

4th or 5th WR at LSU might as well be a redshirt. Hell, we only complete maybe 10 passes a game. If Quinn is the 5th reciever, you won't see him on the field much.

Whatever man. I've moved on from my pessimism. It's a new season and Harris is looking damn good so far in camp. Time for posts like these to go away for at least a little while. I'm finally becoming more and more optimistic that Harris is gonna be the starter. And I think he'll do well under Cam.

Don't get me wrong. I'd LOVE to see Chark's promise start to fulfill in regular season game action. I'm pulling for the kid, and it would be great to have five studs at the position. But we do know from past seasons that spring practice standouts don't always carry it over to the games.
But seriously... Geaux Chark!!! I'd love to see it from him.

Imagine a five wide set . Dural, Chark on the outside. Dupree & Quinn in the slot leaving DeSean Smith or Diarse in tight for a mismatch against a linebacker.

I'll never understand it. He came in and STARTED as a true freshman WR in the SEC. Made some big catches and struggled at times like 99% of freshmen do.
Yet, other kids that have never played the first down of college football are supposed to come in and pass him up?

So? You do know that spring games are predetermined and if the coaches wanted to get Chark massive amount of eyeball time, then they can do that, which it SEEMS like that is the case.
Chark has done nothing in real game time to say he is above Quinn on the depth chart.

Quinn was the only guy who could both block and get off the jam reliably. Anyone ranking Chark above him isn't doing it based on anything other than conjecture at this point. Chark has to prove it on the field before you can rank him before Quinn.
