What he’s done this year is remarkable.

However, he’ll be fired by 2024.

He is a Tiger as long as we compensate him reasonably.

USC was his "dream job" at one point. He's at LSU for less money because that was part of the pitch. He had to talk LSU into hiring him. It wasn't that LSU offered more money and he turned it down. All that said, he's about to get paid.

I think USC would be the only school with enough cachet and familiarity with O to ever be a threat to LSU. He's certainly not going to the pros.

Coach O won't leave LSU. He's the perfect fit for LSU and he knows it.

Besides, he can probably make a lot of money off-the-field, too.

If any school poached coach O, maybe we would let Coach Urban Meyer have a shot. He could hire Ryan Day away to come work for him. Its a win win!!!

With Coach O's success, does other big time programs like Texas though bank at him?

This is a situation like Penny Hardaway at Memphis. They will never leave, even though another school with more titles could potentially pay a little more and make a big offer. The only way they leave are being fired, retiring or dying. I doubt anyone wastes their time trying.
