I see everybody talking about Boutte in the offense, but if Garner came back I think we beat at least Ole Miss

A secondary with both Garner and Brooks would have helped immensely or if Harris and Chestnut weren't program killers

Mekhi Garner, Greg Brooks, Zy Alexander, JK Johnson, mix in Andre Sam and Sage Ryan with the freshmen. IMO LSU beats Ole Miss, not spying Perkins on Milroe still costs them the Bama game, and Kelly didn’t have his team prepared for FSU in the opener.

Well, Garner was a great tackler so I feel like it definitely would’ve helped. Him and Brooks were huge losses this year

He SHOULD come back, provided LSU brings a coach in who can help develop his game as well as those around him on that side of the ball.

11-1 with he and brooks. We beat ole miss with just garner. And maybe fsu since 2-3 tds were high point deep balls he could contend better being 4 inches taller then chestnut

Garner, Converse, Brooks, Foucha, Ward was a very solid defensive backfield.
This seasons failures have come down to just missing on the guys we brought it to replace them.

Our issues start up front. It doesn't matter who you have in the secondary if your front 7 can't stop the run or get pressure on the QB.
