I noticed holes as well that he missed. One of the holes was right next to him and he would've gotten 5 yards easy. He needed to get to the 2nd level but only did about 3 times. When he gets into the 2nd level he is a beast.

He needs to be more patient but running the I, you are supposed to follow the FB. Well this makes it too easy for the defense. All the LB's have to do is crash the hole that the FB creates. It was idiotic to continue to run that crap after the 1st half.

What they did with Ole Miss in putting Guice and LF in the backfield would've made the LB's and DL think and pause about how to defend it. The OC sucked with the game plan and made no adjustments.

The I formation power run made it easy on the bama defense. They had a binary choice.
1. Crash the FB hole
2. Was it play action

I would like to know how many times they ran the I power run off tackle.

I understand running patient and waiting for blocks to develop, but didn't work against Bama.
Did you watch the video? He was pressing, there were holes but he kept trying to get to the outside and hit a home run. He left a lot of yards on the field.

He said there were at least 5 plays where Fournette missed the hole, then showed 2 plays and 1 was a pass. I do agree the first run was frustrating but there was not multiple plays were he missed open lanes.

I'm sure all the people hating on Leonard were saying the same thing after the Ole Miss game.

That's a great analysis and I agree with McElroy totally

The first clip was 100% correct and we noticed it in real time. I disagree that this had anything to do with the NFL though. I think Fournette was so worried about going 0-3 against Bama that he took it too much on himself. We have got to stop taking off weeks before this game, it just leads to players being tight and overworried.

I couldn't make it through the whole video. I am so sick of losing to these fricks.
