Should be ashamed by his coaching performance this season. fricking every pitcher has digressed besides Skenes. fricking figure it out or getting past a regional may be a tall task.

I’ve said that all season ESPECIALLY Cooper. People on here look at Coopers full year stats from last season but down the stretch Cooper was the best pen arm they had besides the closer.

This is the train I’m on. If 1-2 pitchers suck, it’s probably on them. When 9-10 pitchers suck, it’s on coaching.

The pitch calling gets too cute. Too many attempts at perfect breaking balls. For most of these guys spot the fast ball and go. We had one batter 1-2 in the 7th and then 3 breaking balls for a walk.
These aren’t MLB pitchers. They aren’t that good. Throw the fast ball. Maybe they miss or hit at someone.

Is it me or do we throw way too many curve balls. I watched a bunch of them hit today. It would be interesting to know the count on sliders/ curve balls to fastballs thrown/called.

I was curious as to why an MLB coach would go to College. Now I see why. He knew his days were numbered in the League.
