re: In your opinion, has Les Miles definitively "Lost The Room" or not?

B.
A lot of prospects leave when they shouldn't. They most likely feel they have no confidence their coach can rectify the problems with the team by their senior years. Why do we struggle to keep even guys who are barely projected as late picks?

It's fairly clear that the players like Les a whole lot more than the fans do.
I - without exaggeration - have close friends who have hated Miles since HIS FIRST DAMN GAME
I know some who hated him the moment he was hired and have never wavered on that since. Even when LSU won the title.

Only among those who still weep for Saban. LSU fans with functioning brains are still with him.

when things get rough there are always people that cut and run. i'm sure there are some players that do this just like there are some fans that do it.
even tho it's possible that miles has lost his players I do not think so. some may be wavering but something positive will happen and that will change them back.
you need to understand, while the players see the problems with the team they likely see different problems. they are insiders.

Who cares, with this loss to ND we have definitely entered into the "Dark Ages" A period where we've come to accept mediocrity and good players choose greener pastures for the next decade or so

You can "like" somebody and have absolutely little or no faith they will bring you a championship. The two aren't mutually exclusive. I have no doubt the players love him, he seems like a nice enough guy, but he has peaked as a coach and his coaching philosophy is not sustainable for the long term. I wouldn't expect a bunch of 20 year olds to necessarily get that.
