Indiana head coach Bob Knight slammed and broke a courtside telephone on the scorer's table during a 1987 NCAA Tournament second-round game against Dale Brown's LSU Tigers.

frick Bobby Knight. He should've gotten t'ed for that shite. And that game was in the Elite 8, not 2nd round. LSU was 10-seed and Indiana was 1-seed. Nikita Wilson missed a turnaround at the buzzer that would have won the game. Was a heartbreaker.

Facts have very little influence here.

Bobby Knight famously said about LSU coach Dale Brown:
“It didn't look good. In fact, my assistants had just about given up, and so had I. Then I looked down toward the other bench, and I saw Dale Brown standing there. I knew then that we had a chance.”
