I was there and remember thinking it might be a shootout after ceedee lamb caught that bomb and it was 7-7 early in the first quarter.
Didn’t think it would turn into a beat down of epic proportions like that.

Even more amazing that I had some sooner fans telling me they had a shot.

Like come on I get it you’re a big fan and all but get real.

Unfortunately, I felt the same at the SEC Championship game against UGA in 2022 except it was UGA looking like they were about to slaughter an undersized LSU team.

Don’t get me wrong it was cool to win the west again but good lord LSU had absolutely zero business being there vs that Georgia team.

A very forgettable end to a meh season.

I remember hearing the news of Carley McCord's death that morning before the game. I figured either we were going to destroy them or it could mess with the team's and Coach E's psyche and we'll play flat. Glad it was the former.
I drive by the crash site almost daily and it's really hard to get over that all that happened at the same time.

Now sooner fans brag that the best WR in the NFL had 4 Td's against them in that game.

I was there with my dad. We went to the SEC champ game, the Peach, and the NC game that year. All great memories.

LSU was up 49-14 at the half vs OU. Most of the crowd gave a standing ovation.

The most thorough arse-whooping in the history of modern college football.

I will watch the highlights every now and then, and it is simply amazing to watch.
