A quote like that (Jefferson's) makes me really think Miles has been babying this guy. Well, at least we don't have to worry about any more preseason #1 talk. Once those spring game stats sink in, that will be over.

"I really wasn't in the best situations at times," Jefferson said of 2010. "It's kind of hard to be successful when you're in a third-and-six situation. That puts you in a situation you have to complete a 10-, 12-yard pass. That's kind of hard for any quarterback to do. If you [convert] 20 percent of that, that's almost good."

OK ... let's see how JJ's white knights defend this statement.

the only things they have left are to say shite like you think you are smarter than the coaches and they would rather a known shitty product than the unknown might be better product.

They know they can run Lee out there in the closing seconds and have him engineer a game winning drive and then everyone can sit around post game and talk about how many career wins JJ has

So he wants to go undefeated but not be invited to the national championship game?

Thank god the end is in sight for this guy. One more ficking year and its over.

I can not believe that dude would say shite like that.

An obvious leader jj is.

If you are a LSU football fan and those comments don't bother you , maybe you should re evaluate things. Seriously.

Doc, I agree with you. Jefferson is not living in teh same reality the rest of us are. He is what he is and I'm not basing that off the Spring Game. It was just one more piece of evidence. He is who he is. You are going to get just that.

If it's 3rd and 6, unless you throw it from the line of scrimmage, it is a 10-12 yard pass.

That's all I got. No defense for the rest of that bullshite he's trying to feed the media. Makes me sick knowing I have another year of this shite.
