But the reset button should be hit on both coordinators.
Passing game coordinator is a joke of a title and was only used to keep E as OC.
You dont need any more to see that he just doesnt have it.
My god dudes, we were throwing 2 yard slants on 3rd and long. Thats not Finley. Thats just piss poor playcalling.
And PELINI.
Jimbo trotted out an offense that played right into our defense and Mond is trash. Some saw that as improvement. I see that as luck.
We are in deep shite next week baws.

He honestly does though. He was hired to have elite coordinators and he’s turned a billion dollar football program into a good ole boy club.
He needs to get his shite and take his dysfunctional pussy hound crooked Louisiana arse down the road if he doesn’t fire Linehan, Ensminger, and Pelini and replace them with the brightest minds in the game

He does deserve to be put on notice, this is unsatisfactory, demand some changes.

We are in deep shite for next several years until management changes....to go from unbeatable to dysfunctional is unacceptable at LSU. It does not happen at Bama, Clem, OSU, and so on....

National Champions. One off year in a fricked up season doesn’t mean he needs to be fired. If we struggle next year or no changes are made and we struggle next year, then we can revisit it, but you don’t fire your championship coach after this season.

FWIW it did take Saban until his third title to create this machine he has in the sec.
His year after a title with us was a down year and so was 10 for bama. Now neither were an abortion like this season.

I didn’t say that we should. I said that he deserves to be fired (and he does if you remove your moral “one year removed from a natty” irrational argument- we’re the worst defending national champions in the history of the game) and that he should replace his coordinators or be fired early next season.
You can rationalize it however you want, but I felt that all of his actions leading up to 2019 were in line with an elite coach and he’s gotten arrogant and done the exact opposite since January of 2020. It’s awful and this isn’t getting turned around anytime soon unless he does some soul searching and drops his good ole boy club bullshite

How quick we forget 2019 was the best season of all time

End of the day talent makes good coaches. Yes there are good coaches, but talent matters most, by far.
LSU lost a record amount and has dealt with opt outs due to a fricked up, weird year.
Make some coaching changes and replace the record amount of talent we lost. We currently have the #3 class.
Let’s let this play out a bit, I don’t think O should be on the hot seat quite yet either.

You realize O took over for Les Miles, not Saban?

Agreed.
But Ed could hardly have mismanaged success worse than he has. So immature.

I also discount what TOSU and Clemson do as their conferences are weak as frick

Ensminger-bad
Canada-bad
Pelini-awful
He inherited Aranda and was dumb enough to really think this defense was better than last years.
He gets credit for Brady. But that’s it. That’s his one good hire.

Yep bad washed up hires, running around all offseason chasing tail and not even discreet about it.

Based on his history, the national championship was the “one off” year.
I agree he deserves the chance to fix it. But if he can’t, we should not allow him to linger like we did with Miles.

Doesn’t matter if we change coordinators. The new relationships would sour quickly.
O is in over his head.
Without Burrow, Brady and Tracy his tenure would already be history.
O didn’t create a foundation for future success, primarily because his own limitations. He may borrow concepts from others but that’s it.

Yep. O strikes me as the type who is very satisfied that he got to the top once and doesn’t have the dedication or self discipline to to what it takes to stay at the top.
He very clearly did not prepare at all for this season.
