There's clearly a belief that the coaches read the rant.
To be fair, the previous regime definitely did

Brennan will start as he has a chest.

Myles could’ve still gone elsewhere. He has to own that decision.
We wanted stability in the QB room. Daniels became available after the fact. Nuss stepped up in his development. Things change, nothing was promised. Myles is a grown man he can deal with that if that’s the result.
I understand that but if BK knew he wanted a mobile QB why did he talk Brennan out of the transfer portal.

Do you want me to repeat myself. We wanted stability. Things changed after the fact.

In fairness they could have left Myles in the transfer portal if they knew when they got Jayden he was gonna start no matter what.
Myles decided to leave the portal and come back to LSU before Daniels transferred. CBK recruited him back because at the time our qb room was pretty depleted.

There is a staff paid quite well to make those decisions. None of us have a clue what is expected and which player comes closest to meeting those expectations.
Only one candidate has played an SEC game and faced SEC defenses.
I'm anxious to see who is selected and how he performs
against a defense that is allowed to tackle. Making plays wearing a Red Jersey is not a test, IMO.

Some people would call this Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Missouri here instead
Daniels has on the other hand played against Oregon, Utah, USC, and Michigan state.
The idea that Myles is the more proven commodity than Daniels is, quite frankly is hilarious. He’s started 13 games in a P5 conference.

He has interests outside of football. If he plays football, he will do so as hard as he can. If he doesn't, he will mentor the others. I don't think him getting a starting job is do or die for him. He understands that his name could be called at any moment, and parlay that into who knows what. And I'm not saying he isn't trying to win the job or doesn't want the job, but it's not an end all or be all for him. If it was, he would've been gone a long time ago. To have comfort in whatever happens with his football career is a great place to be.
I don't think the QB battle is settled. Every QB still has a chance. And, every QB may still play. Kelly has a history of playing multiple QBs, feeling out the game/situation for who plays and when. I know everyone hates a multiple QB system, and I'm not fond of it, but I won't knock it until it fails. I could see it working - you can't let SEC coordinators get comfortable with your looks.

Brennan isn't a mobile QB. Let the kid play his last year starting somewhere instead of it being a fasad.

We didn’t force him to stay. He chose this.

Some times other people are better. It’s life.

Was that before or after Brennan knew he wanted a mobile QB?

We didn’t promise him a starting role. Nowhere has BK said he refuses to start a non mobile QB. Brennan lost the battle. He knew that was always a possibility. That’s the risk he took. He’s old enough to understand that’s how the world works, not sure I can say the same for you

Sticking around does not guarantee anything if you don’t have the hunger to seize the opportunity.
I can stick around Olivia Dunn for years and she will still diss me lol.

BK had repeatedly said he prefers mobile QB's.
Bet he didn't tell Myles that when he convinced him to come back.
If it's strictly about passing then Myles should be the starter.
It is the mobility factor is why Myles is 3rd string.

Why are you assuming the QB competition, including Brennan, was a facade? You have no idea what Kelly told Brennan.

I'm pulling for MB and hope he has a story book season but I'll leave the decision to CBK

Or you know, Nuss and Daniels have passed him up in that department as well.

You cannot fathom a scenario where we simply chose better QBs over him? In our infinite universe, you see no possibility where Myles simply is the 3rd best QB and lost the competition?
Myles isn’t a little leaguer. This is big boy football. We picked the best QBs.

I just want the best player to play, I think he probably is the best pocket passer but with our inconsistency's /drops at wr and inexperience at OL. A read option, dink and dunk run heavy offense might get us more wins than a more pro-style offense that myles would probably better excel in.
