Most big two athletes wouldn't eve be in college if not for the current rules.

Academic waivers need to go away.

I be willing to bet less than 20% go back to school. No doubt that would be the best senciro but it's takes a very dedicated person to go back after 5-6 years away. It was very hard for me going back after taking 2.5 years off

You’re either 60+ years old and have no idea how the world works now relative to young people and college, or you’re a kid that is regurgitating the talking points your parents and grandparents have been telling you for years. Which is it?

There are overseas teams that will gladly pay six figures for top american talent that might not be quite good enough for the NBA as well.

you can make a good living overseas, plus no income taxes on your first 100K, just right now those leagues aren't playing/paying

My kids will be advised to pick a college town they want to live in for a few years, take classes either online or at the community college, and work a job during the day when their friends are in class to cover rent and living expenses. Still end up with a piece of paper with their name on it, still get the partying and fun college experience, leave with little to no debt, be at the same place or better as the majority of their friends career wise at 22.

Not great advice.
