They didn't win the big 10. They only had one win over a ranked team, in the last game vs Michigan, and they lost on there home field to another playoff team. Dont be so set on bama getting in

OU has the easiest path. Baylor isnt a legit top 10 team and they will smoke them

Oregon has to beat Utah which will be tough

dont see OU being left out. Bama has no hope if they win out

Baylor is one of only 4 of the top 10 that has beaten 3 top 30 teams, and their strength of record is currently 3rd in the nation.

I'm not saying they are playoff caliber, but Oklahoma got waxed by K-State and barely escaped against Iowa State. I wouldn't be betting on OU to smoke anyone.

OU is a fraud, but baylor has seriously been barely escaping with wins. they only beat texas tech at home because of a botched call in OT and barely beat a horrible WV team at home. and just this weekend barely escaped TCU. big 12 is full of mediocre teams just beating up on each other this year

It’s important to note that the committee rotates, we don’t have that same committee of people voting.

People have got to realize that if things play out as expected, Bama is NOT getting in. They may be #4 tomorrow but come the final rankings they won’t be. Their only hope is to watch a bunch of upsets and in that case, what can we complain about? That wouldn’t be Bama’s fault.

I agree with what you are saying about Bama, but minor correction about what happened in 2015, Ohio State did beat Michigan that year for their only Top 15 ranked win, but lost to Top 5 Michigan State by 3 on a last second field goal, and even though they looked like a strong team and were defending champ, Ohio State's resume wasn't good enough to put them in.

Both two times the committee has put in a non conference champion, Bama in 2017 and Ohio State in 2016, both were 11-1 teams competing for a spot against 2 loss conference champions.

As long as there are 4 conference champs at 12-1 or better, Bama loses that comparison.

The only way Bama gets in is if chaos happens and the Big 12, Pac-12, and/or ACC champ lose more than 1.

shite, that would give them TWO quality losses! The committee will put em at #1!

Seriously, I hope they make it in. We would skullfrick that team without taking our foot off the gas in the 3rd.
Don't punt to Waddle and have aranda take his head out his arse running press man at that stage of the game with a single high safety and this ain't a game.

Saban has never beaten an Auburn team who finished with 9 wins or more, (0-6), so Auburn May very well beat Bama this year.

Don't bet against it even if both the Ducks and Sooners win out. OU is looking a little shaky and their defense is reverting to its past standards.

Yay! Somebody gets it! The media can run their collective mouths from now until doomsday, but Bama isn't getting in over a conference champ with only one loss. If they do, then we might as well have a popular vote to select the playoff participants, because that's exact what the sham of a playoff would be, nothing but a glorified popularity contest where certain teams have advantages due to bias by committee members.
