No, but the OP's point is that people said Miles would never beat Saban again. Clearly he did, and is still capable of beating Saban (or anyone else in the SEC for that matter).

I agree, he could beat Saban this year. Its unlikely based on what we've seen so far but it could happen if improvement is seen between now and then.

Lonely/Sorry? HA....I'm simply waiting on my 1pm tee time.......you play golf? I'll have to invite you sometimes when I'm up in Georgia....a member of a club up in north Atlanta area...pretty nice one.

I'm not even talking about this year. I guess I'm just over the negativity of this place already. Usually I at least make it to Nov

The regular season game in 2011 was probably the most hyped regular season game in the history of college football. Of course we would trade the wins, but to say that was not a HUGE game is absolutely ignorant, and it's what makes this site so bad...there is absolutely no rationality or common sense or intelligence displayed in you negas. It was a huge win, on the road, for LSU, probably the biggest regular season win in college football history featuring two of the greatest college football teams in history. Get the fk out of here with your small-minded mentality.

Sorry misunderstood...I'm trying my damndest to stay at least somewhat positive this year as hard as the coaches are making it.
Talked to a BH family member this week who said the kid was pissed and embarrassed about the Auburn debacle. Said he wants to redeem himself in the worst way. When (not if) he gets better and the D ever decides to quit playing "ole!," we got a shot at Bama this year.

The football is taking a backseat to the parties I've been having on Saturdays

Just because some fans are upset about the present situations doesn't mean they don't support LSU and our team. For you to say these fans hope that (Our Team) doesn't win out is wrong. All true LSU fans want our team to be successful but everybody has a right to their own opinion. Now let go beat FL in the swamp!

Exactly! I want the team to win EVERY SINGLE GAME, and take no pleasure when they lose. I know they won't, but the brand of ugliness we've seen so far has got be making even the biggest of the Miles homers a little concerned.
This UF game is a must win in order to salvage any kind of positivity from this season.

I am not sure why you are holding on to this game regardless of how hyped up it was. It has zero bearing historically. Zero.
You speak of rationality, common sense and being small-minded and you try to prop up some meaningless victory (because we ultimately got embarrassed on the biggest stage of them all). The argument can be made that you are small-minded because you are singularly focused on some regular season wins and not the big picture (championships) or exactly how bad LSU has looked in the last two losses.

Well, I'm actually one of the good guys. I don't think LSU or Miles is above questioning. He makes me very frustrated at times. But, the dude wins. As a business guy, I have always looked at the bottom line....as a former auditor, yes we identify areas to tweak, to make us even stronger...but at the end of the day, it's the bottom line that matters.
This year, the bottom line is in the red, no doubt. It's the improvement we make throughout the year, going into next year...that is of real interest. If we don't make any.....then yes, we need to look a little deeper.
I've been called a rookie on here...haha. To THIS message board, maybe....but, as a season ticket holder since 1988, I'm pretty sure I've "earned" the right to voice my opinion. Lord knows I've sent enough money that way. I've just never really been tolerant of ignorance levels, whether it be here or in business. Personally, I think they way you react to things like a college football game, says a lot about your leadership ability in life...jmo. Carry on and have a good day sir.

Since 2008, Miles has a 50% win rate against Ole Miss and Florida. We lose the games coming up that drops to 43%. Against Bama is 29%, lose to them drops to 25%. Arkansas is 66%, lose to them that's 57%. So, considering he is the best coach that ever lived to some of you, what do you think about having a losing % to 3 of our yearly foes if this season continues to go bye bye. Its called what have you done for me lately bitch.
