I would be perfectly fine with that if it means we're competing again next year for the SEC. I don't believe that to be true though...

Why? Are we just magically not going to improve with experience while everyone else does?

GTFO, no they weren't.

I am not negative, but I see reality and I can analyze performance since I have been doing it since before you were born.
You are not the most negative, but you are definitely in the top 25 on here, and that is saying a lot.
Since before I was born huh......well since I'm 48 and retired right now, that would make you what, 68-75?
I spent some years at a pretty high level, and very luckily in a position to play a lot of golf now. But I went through much of the same issues, and you will always find people that over-react in every walk of life.
This is a young team....very young...they will have more growing pains....but they are VERY talented and it will pay off big-time starting next year. I'm sorry you would rather focus on the doom and gloom than the positive.....it really is what separates winners and loser in life. If this team folds its tent this year, and continues through next year...then obviously there is an issue. Until then, take a deep breath and live life man....it's just a game.
**also, you lie. I remember you, you were VERY caught up in Texas A&M recruiting this past year.....always with your "my buddy from a&m shite".......it got old, and made some of us believe you aren't really an LSU fan...and then looking at your post history...there is some merit to that.

In 2008/2009, the #1 thing the Nega's were saying...

Tigerinthehollow: needs to grow up and show a little respect to other members...or should be canned
He has been a poster since Sept 2014 ... Frankly, has not earned the right to attack anyone.
That is not what this place is about.

Get out of here with that nonsense. This place is a cesspool of negativity and name calling.

Are you a season ticket holder? Not trying to stir up anything else but damn, I can tell you I'm tired of paying more each year to watch this crap. To me it says a lot about how little LSU respects its fan base. They know that 99% of us will pay whatever they ask for tickets, regardless of the product being shown on the field. Thus, they're in no hurry to make any changes. With the salaries of our coaches, combined with our facilities we should not be getting blown out by anyone. We pay top dollar for coaches, facilities and tickets to watch these games. our top dollar facilities and coaches bring in top recruits year in and year out. So what happens when they get here? You telling me all these kids we bring in are busts? And it's not miles fault? Give me a break.

How do you think TN fans feel? How about USC fans since Carroll left? Bama fans during the Shula years?

Last year I knew we'd have trouble in the defensive back field. They got better as the season went on. I'm hoping the dline grows up. Think we are what we are at linebacker though.
We were thin at wr, but that isn't the weak spot on offense. If our true frosh qb can improve, the O will improve.
So I'm just looking for spots on this team to grow as the season goes on. I don't think that is unrealistic. Online has sucked, but started getting a push against auburn. At least early on we were running the ball well.

This is what's important this year. This was not supposed to be a year where we competed for the SEC. Not after everything we lost the last two years. This isn't a year to be saying Miles needs to go.

What a pile of shite...seriously
Like hell I'm going to show respect to pathetic LSU fans. The over-reacting, knee-jerking, and in many cases, FAKE LSU fans that come on here and slam our team/players/coach. I've been a season ticket holder since 1988, I believe I've "earned" the right to support my alumni and OUR team.
This is not what this place is about? No, this place is about know it all punks who have no clue about coaching, but have all the answers. Now, go troll somewhere else dude.

Youre not really going to compare the significance/importance of those to regular season games to 1/9 are you?
Yes we won them...but most would trade those 2 victories (hell I'd trade the last 5 Bama wins) to have a different outcome on 1/9.
