In 1997, Alashama defeated LSU 28-2........

A few weeks later, we beat those same Mulliganites 13-6 in the NC game in Omaha. (Not trying to say this weekend was the same thing, but......)
It's only the opening weekend......We've lost opening series before and gone to Omaha.....

There is no excuse for this. Just like when we lost to ULM a few years ago, if you are going to be on a national level at any sport, you cannot lose to lesser competition. There has to be very serious questions asked after only scoring 6 runs in 3 games to App State!

With fans yeah, the school most likely not... LSU seems to be just fine sticking with coaches after winning National Championships (I'm sure I'll get flack for even saying that)

This weekend has to open some eyes. It only gets tougher from this point on. At least it sounds like the pitching was pretty strong before today. Just need to get bats going!
