Not to dampen any spirits of the sunshine pumpers, but Miles and LSU need to continue to improve in every phase including their coaching or coach may find himself unemployed. Throw on first downs more, break some habits. Jury is still out on AUB, but Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, and the Texas Aggies are looking very strong. It's probably one the strongest SEC schedules in a while for LSU. All these teams are much improved.

Leslie better coachem up well or he may be gone. The anger is still there from the lack of preparation fans saw in the Wisconsin game among others. But Tiger fans are loving what they see now. Hope the trend continues upward for LSU.

Sadly enough, I think this is true. What's so bad about it is this team could be very good given time but unfortunately time has run out.

To the OP. I believe you have the same opinion as about 85% of the tiger fans and hopefully administrators .

what is missing from your self-righteous scold? Could it be the absence of any clear understanding of how bad LSU had become under BH's leadership? How bad was our offense? Do you know? That DE is now beginning to haul us out of the ditch we were stuck in is reason to be hopeful, but we are not yet close to any kind of realistic championship levels of play. Still shaky and inconsistent, but light years better than the bottom out we all saw versus Wisconsin. Coaching and coaching choices led us to the ditch; that, coupled with the team responding like champions, is the one way out for LSU and CLM.

The lack of coaching and preparation by Miles for the Wisconsin should have never happened, it was as though Miles didn't take his job and his near firing seriously. This is on Miles, not any of us.

The fan base soured on Les Miles a longtime ago. After last season, everything turned toxic.

I don't know that he is a lame duck, but he has to know that he has one shot left to salvage his job and legacy.

Improvement requires BOTH objective analysis (i.e. self criticism- "engine is strong") and constant change (i.e. adjustment). Les Miles' ego gets in the way of the first, and incapable of the second.

If it happens it's because the assistants are doing their own thing on behalf of the players to a degree. But don't get your hopes up.

This alone should have cost him his job. It is not the first time it has happen nor will it be th last. LM will be fired at the end of the season. We just beat a team that is horrible granted the offense looked better but it was MS state

I don't know if Miles should be fired yet, but he's on a very short leash. I also am disgusted by any talk about discussing a contract extension which I've seen some post, that is idiotic.
