For those old enough to remember, it would be like this moment when Pete Rozelle had to hand Al Davis the Lombardi Trophy and each had to pretend they didn't hate each other. That led to the famous "just win baby" quote Al said to his team. The Raiders were looked at by the NFL as the scourge of the NFL and Al didn't really care if his players were bad people on and off the field...as long as they won.

Given their history, Lane probably wouldn't want to put himself in the same context with Al Davis on anything. But getting the SEC Championship trophy and simply saying "just win baby" to a cheering team and fanbase would be an implied "FU" to Sankey to all who know football history.
