Exactly.

Only so much highfiving and back patting we could do last year.

This pitch fork stuff brings out the village idiots... sort of like the scoreboard does on game day

It’s all Os fault.
He’s the coach.

But you don’t fire the guy after one bad year.

That’s the diff between logical people and the rest of Whatever you’d like to refer to yourselves as.

i'm not enamored with him at all to be honest

we have no veteran leaders, they all made business decisions. our players are young and are not very good yet. our starting quarterback got hurt.

logic is escaping the people who insist that this is down to incompetence.

Imagine how stupid you have to be to post this. A lot of us didn’t believe in the O hire. When O helped put together the team from last year we all said we were happy to be proven wrong. Now the program is in the worst state it’s been in the last 30 years. Sure they were worse some years but they didn’t have all the other circus stuff going on. I’m not happy to say I told you so. I just want O gone so we can start cleaning up the ashes.

I've said repeatedly he isn't getting fired this year unless he gets wrapped up in the Title IX stuff.

But it's clear to anyone with half a brain O has lost this program.

It is

Need to be right never goes away.

Loudest ones here today are the same ones that cried loudest when O was hired.

We're not happy LSU is failing. But we are not gonna sit around and be ok with failure.

You can be either an O hater or an O sycophant and both appreciate last year for what it was, and call out this year for what it is.

This year is a shite show...and honestly, that may be an insult to the phrase shite show. The buck stops with O. You can't pile heaps of praise on him for last year then suddenly act like he's not responsible for this year. That's not how it works.

I have disliked, and more importantly mistrusted, O long before he stow awayed his way into BR, and I loved every second of 2019. Greatest season of all time.

Build him a statue, he deserves it.

And now fire him because that time is clearly over to anyone that isn’t a sycophant

ETA: If he is implicated in the Title IX embarrassment melt the statue and never let his name be spoken again

Btw he’s already implicated as far as I’m concerned based on Mickey Joseph’s role. No way that knowledge can’t be attributed to O as well

His termination would have nothing to do with football. Get that out of your heads.

The people who wanted O because he could bring energy, recruits, and hire coordinators to modernize LSU football were right.

The people who didn’t want O because he doesn’t work well with others, isn’t detail oriented, and has a history of blowing up programs were right.

Ed is both of those things. He’s run his course and it’s time to go before things get much, much worse.

Well maybe O shouldn't have shown that he's just as incompetent as we all feared. Last year was an anomaly that will not be duplicated outside of extremely lucky hires. I say extremely lucky because O's track record for hiring is objectively bad.
