I'm tired of the Anthony Jennings insults

He only has one career start. ONE!!! Those of you already calling for him to be benched need to chill out and give him a chance! I am as excited as anybody to see Brandon Harris, but the fact of the matter is that the staff feels Jennings deserves to play. If you don't have faith in Jennings, at least have some faith in Cam Cameron. It is not his first rodeo with quarterbacks. Please stop all the bashing of Anthony Jennings until he gives you a REAL reason to bash him. Like I said, he has only started one freaking game, and that was as a freshman against a pretty decent defense.
It is game day. We need to unite behind whomever lines up under center and cheer them on to a big win today.

Also think of our recruiting. How do you think it makes us look when you are bashing a guy that has only started one game? If I were a promising high school quarterback, I would strongly consider looking elsewhere. Let's have class as a fan base and wait until at least his junior year to start the bashing.

Whoever starts has my full unwavering support. OP needs to relax though. People ripped Mettenburger like crazy his first year. I never gave up hope.

The offensive game plan in the bowl game was not suited for Jennings. Hopefully we can put him in better position to succeed this time. Id like to see more play action and roll-outs with an option to run, less straight drops like we used for Mett and in the bowl game.

People focus on the Iowa game. Really? A freshman in a bowl game against a good defense and you want him benched?
What about the Arky game? That's the kind of defense we will see tonight and Jennings picked them apart to win the game.
