Does it matter if it’s 12%? Some of you people need a life.

I think the main difference you're seeing is in how we manage protection and get the ball out of Burrow's hands in a hurry

Burrow said the main difference is that they run plays to get receivers open, rather than the receiver just having to win a 1 on 1 matchup. It sounds like the route tree combinations are one of the main differences in the offense, obviously in combination with the pace of play.

Who cares it’s working.

As long as it’s working O can say F King is calling 90% of the plays.

It was pretty clear that Brady took over play calling towards the middle of the 2nd quarter. We looked sluggish and play calls kept coming in slow, then a switch flipped and we were spreading the field, moving fast, and using a multitude of formations and personnel packages. THAT was NOT Steve Ensminger.

There is literally zero proof of that. Texas was playing with extremely high emotion and had better field position in the 1st quarter. When that wore off the offense started to click. This isn't hard to figure out.

Bull shite. You can tell when Brady took the reins in the 2nd quarter.

I want to know ho called the series of plays that started the 2nd half. Was that Brady?
Or was that series on E?

I guess some people just have to make drama about things

The offense is clearly different, that much is obvious. I think the general consensus is that Brady is the idea man, and has brought in a lot.

I also don't think he's experienced running a game. There's a difference between having great plays, and stringing them together in a timely manner based on personnel, defense, down and distance, etc. Most likely, the in the booth goes something like this:
Steve: 1st down, Joe's in a rhythm and the receivers are beating man
Brady: I've got A, B, E and J that we can run. Hey what about X?
Steve: clock's running, gotta go now. X, with A as audible (calls play in)
Brady: Yeah, ok. B next, E if we get the first.

I think that goes on until Brady has the choices pared down to 1-2 choices a play, and then he calls the game with Ensminger giving input on time and personnel.

No, Steve had this offense for 3 years and only waited on Joe Brady to come so he wouldn’t get all of the credit.

Sounds way more plausible.

Again, the question isn’t whether Brady had input into designing the offense. He very obviously had a huge impact, such that THE ONLY PLAYS THAT THE LSU OFFENSE KNOWS are plays that Brady was involved with designing.

It is literally impossible for Steve Ensminger to call plays like he did last season, because the players haven’t been practicing those plays and are not prepared to run them. If a random number generator was calling the plays this year by picking plays from the 2019 playbook at random, it would include the same types of plays that you’ve seen the last two weeks, because THOSE ARE THE ONLY OPTIONS. That’s what installing a new offense means.

It’s weird to me that people can’t grasp this.
