But i guess if you believe a mountain is shaped like a boat because there is a boat inside of it you arent doing a lot of critical thinking in the first place.

Also, wood takes millions of years to petrify naturally unless its in a mineral rich hot spring.

That’s a fair statement. I can show where all other religions founders are buried. I can’t show you where mine is buried because He is not there. There is historical texts that validate the existence of Jesus separate and apart from the Bible. I can’t look at the universe and tell you everything is just by coincidence perfectly aligned scientifically. To look at such wonder and have the intellectual dishonesty to say it is anything other than intelligent design makes no sense to me.

The proof to me is there is historical context, it is reliable, and taking the science approach to it, I can’t help but come to the conclusion that there is God, he designed it, you and I are here and have value, and because of that a creator did it and science can’t say how it happen(s)ed. You having the ability to type your reply to me is enough proof that God set all of this in motion for you and I to have a relationship with Him through his son Jesus.

Complete petrification typically occurs on geological timescales (millions of years).

But the more important question is: what evidence do you have that this is actually petrified wood? That’s something geologists can determine pretty easily by examining the structure.

So if this really is a 500-foot petrified wooden ship, there are obviously published geological studies demonstrating that. You can link those, right?
