I'm going to go on record - I don't like the move

I think it was bad idea to get rid of Miles four games into a season after eleven years. You let him finish out the season, and if we get trounced then you do it as soon as the final game ends. I think the fact that the "loss" was so controversial and that you can see the improvements in our passing game also weigh into it.
The players love Les, and they were going to keep playing hard for him no matter what. I've never liked Alleva, and I know I am in the minority in saying that it was both the right thing to do AND the best thing for the LSU program to allow Miles to finish out the season.
I'm fully willing to accept a sig/avi bet from one of the many of you who are going to roast me on this. If this season doesn't go up in flames and end in a lackluster hire, then y'all can come up with something good to make me eat crow. But if I'm right, I'm just going to be sad because I don't want this to go how I think it's going to go.

So firing him at the end of the year is going to me much better how?

15.27 for 118 is trash.
THATS STILL TRASH

Like I said, I'm prepared for an onslaught of downvotes, but this is the Rant, and I wanted to put my rant out there so if things turn out like I'm afraid they will, I can at least say "I told you so" while I take those sad walks out of TS

the dude was all but fired last year and changed nothing which was evident in the first game again wisconsin. he was given an ultimatum to modernize the offense and he basically said
you.
he got 4 games too many...

I think it was right to give him one more year to try and right the ship.
I think they would have given him the full year had he made a change at OC and changed the offensive philosophy
In the end his loyalty to his good friend Cam was his downfall
He is a class act. And he is a very likable and loyal guy
It cost him his job
It was time to move forward now

I have to disagree. The bowl game and these four games were a result of giving due consideration for what he's done. Even Les seems to understand it was time.

Based on some of the reports from tonight, he had that option but would not fire Cameron as requested.

Have you watched a single game this season?
