It's the only memorialized game that I can say "I was there".
I absolutely agree with other posters who said it was an incredibly boring game. There are some games (game of century in Bama) during which every yard is contested, and every moment is intense. This game didn't have "that feel". Not sure if that was me (quite possibly THE most hung over I've ever been in my life), or everyone's else's take.
Auburn was highly ranked, and it seems that most just thought "well, we've kept it close", up until the last drive. I will say the last drive DID have "that feel." IIRC, we converted and 4th and 10 (for 11 btw), in that drive.
As for the earthquake itself, I felt "nothing different" than other raucous moments. Considering it's the only memorialized game that attended, I'd say the earthquake is more media driven BS.
One caveat......I was sitting in the upper. Later on in life, I had season tickets in south end zone.

The million dollar question I have is why doesn't LSU turn on a seismograph in the same place for another game?

Even though they tied for the SEC, neither team was that good. We got absolutely demolished by U. Miami that year. We lost to a mediocre Ohio St. team.
I mostly just remember the "dial a down" things moving like clockwork. 1... 2... 3... 4... 1....
I don't remember nearly as much flirting with FG position as took place in Auburn 2006 or Alabama 2011 or this last game; but I was really young, so I may have forgotten.

I was in the student section for this game and I always believed the seismograph thing happened because a lot of fans jumped with Fuller when he went up to catch that final pass...I know I did...

3rd and 10. Pass incomplete, intended for Ronnie Haliburton.
4th and 10. Pass complete to Eddie Fuller for a touchdown, in a play that looks very similar to the first down play of this series of downs. This play is credited with triggering a crowd-generated, localized seismic event.

Wasn't around for that one, but something comparable to me would be 2007 Florida or Auburn. The latter was a last second, game-winning play and was loud but Florida was THE loudest sporting event I have ever been to.

I was in the SEZ and had Season Tickets at the time. With the Score 6-0 Auburn I cannot imagine anyone leaving the game! No one around me left their seats. My Son was a little guy about 9 and we knocked him down to the next row and a lady picked him up and he was ok. I think it was that soon as Fuller scored the crowd erupted at the same moment! A Engineer at work was from Auburn and we did not have to hear his crap for a while!
