The FBI knows Wade didn't make any deals with Dawkins. If he had he'd of been named on the indictment along with Louisville, NC State and Kansas. The issue here with Wade has nothing to do with the FBI, it has to do with the NCAA. That issue concerns whether or not he actually paid a recruit or his family. According to the tapes he did make 2 offers, neither of which actually transpired. This is a violation of NCAA rules, but definitely not as serious as actually making a transaction. And that is where this entire mess has been blown out of proportion. The media and public are saying he did in fact pay a recruit and/or family, but there is no proof of this according to the tapes.
