Currently, Florida's starting DB unit may be SLIGHTLY better than ours, but we have a lot more depth. That's why we claim DBU. Hargreaves and Tabor, imo, are the two best DBs in the country, they're super explosive! Other than a handful of busted coverages/miscues by our secondary, no one has been able to pass on us except for Prescott's last 2 min. drive in the 4th when we were playing deep and he was throwing 10 yard passes up the middle (that was Steele's fault, but anyway). That stands true without our #1 S, Mills, AND with a true freshman on the field.

Nice, respectful OP. I think Florida is better than what you describe, but that's why you play the game. Should be loud in death valley!

So what's this about Florida's kicker?? I didn't hear this..

On defense, we obviously need to stop that part 2 men, part 2 amazing beasts of an RB you got.

you haven't a clue. LSU is DBU because of the amount of DB's they send to the pros.

Florida is better then I describe, but I have too much respect for Tiger Stadium at night. It goes back to 1997, when Kevin Faulk went gonzo.

Our kicker situation is weird, he is supposed to be injured, but our coach is not forthright with the information. It appears he has been benched, but the coach is saying he's injured to prevent him from getting butt hurt

If we didn't have depth and talent, would we send kids to the pros? Troll somewhere's else.

According to the police report, he believed his girlfriend slept with another player on the team.

How does this affect the locker room?

It sure can't help the locker room mojo. I hate to say it, but the guy that was arrested barely saw the field. If the other guy (who is unknown), is a bench warmer, than it may not have much effect at all.

I can tell you one thing, Gator nation is getting really tired of these arrests.

Don't blame you guys. Meyer left quite a mess down there.

I think you guys are going to win, but you should respect our D. Our d-line will probably be best you see all year. Unfortunately, we are very thin at lb. The ones that play are very good and play angry.

The key here is that if you don't force LSU to do something else or if you don't win the time of possession war then Miles will keep pounding your DL with hard runs off tackle and up the middle. The effect has been that teams wear down in the second half as did USCe - they were gassed coming out of the locker room for 3rd qtr.

If you keep LSU to short drives of 3-6 plays and punt then you have something going. LSU's problem has been they play poorly in the lead and let teams crawl back in.
