Run the offense in the same fashion as Joe rather than now a question mark and people suggesting we need to bring in another guy like King. Maybe he isn’t quite on Joe’s level yet but he is a smart kid with cannon and he will be very competent when the play calls allow for it.

Brennan will be just fine. Problem is he's always coming in with the second team, so second team line and receivers.

Give him this whole offseason as the guy working with Chase, Marshall, Burton, Jarrett, etc. and he'll be fine (assuming Jefferson leaves)

I think he will be good. Not as good as Joe, especially next year. His 2nd year starting however, he may be special. Time will tell.

Again I would think there would be enough of an ego with Joe to prove we can be successful with the second guy as well. Kinda to put our minds and the players minds more importantly at ease if something happened to Joe for a game or so.

You say this like fans suggesting shite on message board affects the coaches decision. Coaches have seen enough of Brennan and they’ll make their QB choice accordingly. My opinion no need for a transfer use the spot for this recruiting class.

Whole off season with the ones. And we aren't the only team losing people.

Just the live game practice reps are huge and can’t put a price tag on that for him. Maybe he gets it and no big deal.

We will be loaded again on offense next year. Joe will be our only loss of any significance. It will be up to Brennan to drive the ship. Problem to be is he has a total different personality than Joe. Doesn’t have Joe’s toughness and moxy. Going to be interesting!!

It’s Brennan’s job to lose, so he’ll get the opportunity to prove he’s the guy.

I mean The coaches don’t feel it’s necessary.

And they will know if we need to bring in a grad transfer better than us.

I agree I think We all would have loved to have this question answered, but it isn’t happening.

now a question mark

It's only a question mark to those that don't really understand the position. Myles has all the tools needed to be a very successful QB for LSU. We have seen him play in games. We know he can manage the game. Bringing him in to start next season isn't like bringing in a true freshman with no college experience.

Again, these are people that do not understand the QB position. They don't understand a lot about the game. They simply judge Myles based on the few appearances from this season and don't understand that Myles hasn't been getting reps in practice with these receivers. Plus when he has came in LSU isn't trying to score, they just need him to manage the game, don't make mistakes and run the clock. Once they turn him loose and open the playbook, Brenna is going to shock and surprise a lot of non-Brenievers. Before LSU plays bama next season Myles is going to make a lot of people true Brenievers!!!

Yes he will. An entire off-season with him the focus of the coaching staff, yea, he will be ready to blow the frick up!!! Myles is going to set some records that joe is breaking this season. With Chase, Marshall both in their 3rd seasons. Plus these incoming freshmen receivers and Arik Gilbert. LSU's offense is going to look really good for several years to come.

Of course, he is not on Joe's level yet cause only one QB at a time can have the kind of chemistry with the receivers that Burrow has. As it would be too difficult and too time-consuming to have the receivers develop chemistry with two QBs at one time. In fact, it's probably impossible. Thus, it's impossible for Brennan to run the offense as proficiently as Burrow currently does right now.

Nevertheless, after Burrow heads off to the NFL, Brennan will finally get his chance and it will be up to him under the guidance of QB coach Steve Ensminger to develop chemistry with the receivers.

However, I would never expect Myles Brennan to reach the same level of competency as Joe Burrow has cause Joe Burrow is a once in a generation kind of QB. QBs like Joe Burrow only come around once a generation or less.

Nonetheless, I would expect Brennan overall to be a better than an average QB next season. Not to mention, that hopefully, the running game can also pick up a lot of the slack next season.

As I expect Brennan to also get drafted into the NFL when he ends his LSU career, but I don't expect Brennan to be a number one draft choice like Joe Burrow. However, I hope I'm wrong.

The problem is idiots in our fan base are comparing Brennan to a QB that's having the greatest season in LSU history and is a front runner for the Heisman. Brady's offense is very similar to what Brennan ran in HS and you always hear people say you can't teach accuracy. Brennan complete nearly 70% of his passes and had 48 TDs to 3 INTs in HS. It wasn't top competition, but it doesn't take an expert scout to see the kid has the tools to be very good.

Let him have an offseason as the QB running with the ones, let Brady focus on his game development and Brennan will do well. Our run game next season will be lethal and he won't have to carry the team. You won't replace Burrow, but our offense will be more balanced and just as good.

Getting all the 1st team reps and gaining a little more strength will make him work out fine.

I hope he gets to play a lot vs Arkansas and they let him run the offense to its full extent.
