I wouldn't call it useless, but ops and ba w/ RISP are more important

That was two years ago and now Virginia is #1 in the nation using less talent based on recruiting class rankings. You don't think he would be an upgrade?

So the head recruiter and top hitting coach has less talent now? Sounds like a downgrade in recruiting.

Hitting has to do with more than just a hitting coach . It has something to do with recruiting also . These bats suck . Good pitching in the SEC. I wish it was as easy as saying we need a hitting coach .

For an upgrade in hitting and a number 1 team, seems like a good deal to me.

Javi, I know there's a rain delay, but instead of defending yourself on a message board shouldn't you be doing some coaching. The hitting is quite unclutch.

Then people would bitch about recruiting. Its neverending for some of these fans.

We don't have a head recruiter, and the three classes we've had since the recruiting coordinator was fired have all been an improvement.

ETA: Nevermind, didn't see the context.

I don't care what people bitch about. I'm just concerned about the decrease in results and production this year and the lack of improvement shown. Maybe this is as good as these guys are? In that case, isn't Javi a bad recruiter then? I don't believe that to be the case. And I don't think he's fully responsible for this year's woes either. But I do think that a fresh voice can be a good thing. With a different approach, maybe we could use someone who has a different philosophy.

I would never make up anything on here.

But seriously Javi, I've wanted you fired for years. Stats be damned.

Virginia's team BA is .275 and OPS is .753

I thought winning with pitching and defense was frowned upon?

So basically same as us with less talent from recruiting right?

I would like to know their BA w/ RISP.

.300 normally gets you top 20 in the country.

Do some research before you bitch about 2 down years.

Umm I think you've got some Cliff Godwin years included in your stats.

Did Javi not get hired in 08? Cause I know Godwin left in 08.

He was an assistant in 08 and became the hitting coach in 09
