Why do all the idiots on here keep trying to attribute LSU's success to any one coach?

It's foolish.

Believe what you will but that’s your own bullshite opinion. We all know you’re a Skip blowhard so naturally you’re going to defend him.
I genuinely like Skip but I also know he was a handful to work with.
Either way, I stand by what I said. Now go play elsewhere with your bullshite.

I'm just going by what Saban said at the time. He said Skip asked him if it was money, LSU would come up with the money to keep him at LSU including making Saban the highest paid college football coach in history.

Saban said he told Skip he had the NFL itch that he wanted to scratch. Nothing Skip or anyone else could do about that.

But I guess you know more than Nick Saban does about what went on. You're full of shite.

Which Saban told LSU they had to build if they wanted to compete with the best college football programs in recruiting top players.
bullshite.

Emmert had the Flagship vision. Emmert knew that football success was the key to LSU fundraising. Emmert knew after DiNardo's problems with replacing coordinators that LSU had to invest money into the football program for LSU to be successful. That's why Emmert increased the HC salary from $150,000 to $1.2 million to hire a high-profile head coach like Saban.

Emmert demanded a Flagship football program. Emmert opened the funding for the football program. Emmert knew that LSU needed to pour money into football facilities, equipment, salaries, etc. Emmert opened the funding to hire Saban.
