Bobby Hebert just tweeted that it's bullshite that his son gets called out when multiple players broke curfew and T Bob wasn't involved in a fight
Perhaps Bobby should have been a better role model for his son.

Run them to death and make them have public appologies and move on.

Bobby Hebert is much better than his son at getting drunk and making a spectacle of himself in public.

Tiger Zone the curfew is a team rule that matters and if didn't Les Miles would not have had it in place. None of this incident happens if the curfew is paid attention to. Look at what happened as a result of kids who think they know better than the coach. Even if you or the players don't see certain rules as important they are in place to protect players and the university. I bet this curfew is strictly enforced by Miles from here on out. The fact that a rule was so widely ignored is a major problem for the program. If any of these kids feel the curfew rule is too difficult for them to follow or they are too important a player to be expected to follow it they should be dismissed from the team. Regardless of your feeling on the curfew the LSU program is not a democracy. Playing on the team is an honor and not a right. No player is bigger than the program. If they feel they can't abide by the tough rules they are free to play somewhere else (maybe Miami) or just be a student at the school.

By the way, do you Ranters think that sometime this week we will find out the other players who were at Shady's? The only ones we know for sure are JJ, Davenport, Johns, Landry and T-Bob.

I started this thread about Downs and it turned into a Bobby Hebert bashing. We can all agree that Bobby is a moron and has no right to bitch about something Miles said. He was asked about him and he answered accordingly. End of story there.
If TBob is such a team leader and already on a short leash for his DUI (which according to his mom who posts on here anonymously it should have been dropped), then he of all people should have been nestled with his teddy bear in bed. He wasn't so Miles can talk about it all he wants. That's part of being a team leader, taking one for the team.
Nobody is getting suspended for breaking curfew, especially if it's a mass group effort of "tradition". If it is tradition, then shame on Miles for not stopping it.
Now we are caught up in this thread and you can stop your bitching.

This is the beginning of team dissention. Lack of senior leadership. Ask Texas how this affects a team. Miles had better cut the cancer out before it spreads. 3 losses this season. Bama will drum us.

For his son's sake, I hope he does it early before he pops open a couple of cold ones.

im not his mom. that was just an awful joke someone was making. i never said it shouldve been dropped either. i said he was dumb for trying to cover his friends tracks and thinking his fame would get him out of the dwi. but considering it wasnt him driving it really wasnt that big of a deal to me.

So, he wasn't drunk and he wasn't driving, but manged to get a DUI.
If you cant give a better explanation then I have to believe you are full of shite.

My initial reaction was why did he just call t-bob out like that
Because dumb T-Bob is already on Miles' Double probation for stuff like DWI, Bar fight, and other stuff. T-Bob = Trouble = Character issue.

it's amazing how many of you have never broken the rules. We talking about curfew. How many of you at work or in class are posting on here when the company/professor rules say no cell phone etc. so if you want these guys to be kick off the team or suspended, then you all should be fired or kick out of school. Just saying!

At least you have the decency to admit that your life is miserable. I know several losers who put up the facade of happiness and success when we all know it's bullshite.

No loss if T-Bob suspended, anyway.

I have only seen one person advocate suspensions for missing curfew. However, they should be running gassers and eating slop at team meals.

I know you're not his mom but it's a message board. Don't defend a DUI and you won't get made fun of. I understand sometimes it's not what it looks like but you're not gonna convince anyone on here otherwise. It's clear that you wanna take his side because you know him or at least met him once.
