Detroit's offensive line effectively kept the quarterback clean and upright, allowing Goff to stay comfortable throughout the game.

But they definitely show a lot of creative run concepts that would be a good fit with the types of backs that we currently have.

For those that didn't watch, what concepts?

Did they go under center? If yes that will never happen here under Kelly so forget it.

My man. We've gone under center in short yardage and goal line situations this year. We scored a TD against Clemson on an under center run. We went under center against Florida for that long run Durham had at the end. We went under center against SLU for a few yardage first downs.

For very specific situations and formations only. Far different from running your actual offense

I agree that we should use it more. But you said that will "never happen" not that it doesn't happen enough.

He’s never going to change his offense to go under center is what I meant.

I agree. I also don’t think he should either. Just think we should use under center more in short yardage.

The power I worked better than that garbage we ran this weekend. He should change from SG only, it’s cycling out.

I would actually somewhat agree with you if we had a different roster. But we shouldn’t be taking talented WRs off the field for the majority of the game to bring a TE and a FB in the game. Nuss when healthy can sling it all over. I think we will see that more as the season progresses.
