You're obsession with passing yards is beyond amusing.

Ditto.

Contrary to what our hyper-critical, rationally-challenged friend said: "...passing yards lead to touchdowns...”

Wrong. Crossing the goal line leads to touchdowns. Doesn't matter how you do it.

snead for 2009

35 /71 491 total yards 49.3% comp
6.92 YPA 45longest 6 TD 2 INT
6 sacks 129.64 overall rating

JJ for 2009

47/73 475 total yrds 64.4% comp
6.51 YPA 45 longest 5 TD 1 INT
5 sacks 138.91 overall rating

NOt a whole hell of a lot of difference to me. It could be argued that LSU has had a tougher schedule so far. USC coulda beat them by 21 last night without the bone headed plays.

Washington he played pretty good

11/19, 172 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs - Did what was asked of him. NEVER put his team in a bad situation. Played Very Good

quote:

Vanderbilt he played terrible

20/29, 138 yards, 0 TDs, 0 Ints
Terrible? Seriously? Good. Once again, never put his team in a bad position and got the ball in the hands of his playmakers 20 times jackass.

quote:

ULL he played below ok

16/25, 165 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT
He missed on 3 long balls one for an INT. Tried to force a couple passes into tight coverage. However, that TD pass to Lafell was gourgeous. He's hitting the out routes and his tight end well. Screen passes are getting better since last year. Kid just wins games. JJ will be very hard to beat because he won't make a bunch of stupid mistakes. He had an OK game against ULL.

POISE - A+
ACCURACY UNDER 20 - B+
ACCURACY OVER 20 - C
RUNnING ABILITY - B
DECISION MAKING - A-
CLOCK MANAGEMENT - ? Not sure, haven't seen him have to manage the game late.

I think MooU is going to be his 6th start. Give JJ a little time. Damn comparatively speaking he is still a freshman QB. The kid has and incredible amount of poise! He will be fine. We need to support the kid.

Agreed. I understand most of us want to see Jefferson throw for 300+ yards....but he will eventually have that game. Right now, he is playing solid, yes there are some things he needs to work on, but we need to have confidence in him. Jefferson is not going to lose any games for us.

Lee has alot more talent than anyone thinks. He jsut wasn't developed and coached last year. I'd take Lee or Jefferson any day over Snead. He was horable last night.

Despite the votes of confidence...the jury is still out on JJ this season....true that he hasnt lost a game yet BUT we are fixing to traverse murderer's row in the next 4 weeks or so...prolly lots of tight coverages and blitz packages...the O line better step up and protect his young azz or it could get ugly in a heart beat...mistakes are made when you face quality defenses which I feel we have yet to meet.
