I've seen every puny return by the Tigers since 1969.
The answer is Patrick Peterson.

He was good but I think the ones I named were a step Dodge. Now he was probably the most sure handed of them all. I never got nervous about him muffins a punt.

Maybe he was sure handed but what made me nervous was that he never met a punt he didn't try to return. He would run through people to field a punt. He was fearless but also wreckless

TM7. And it's not even close.

Its most definitely an argument. Youre taking Arky and Georgia and thinking thats what he did a lot of times.

Anybody who says trindon holiday isn't a true lsu fan. He didn't even return that much bc fumbles. Gtfo.

I would go with TM7, Peterson, or cannon

They are probably thinking about what he didnt in the nfl and translating it back to lsu. But there is an argument for TH if we were talking kick off returners. But yeah I don't think I'd want him returning punts if I had the option of the other players.

Domanick Davis put up some great stats as a returner as well.

In a large number of worthy punt returners in my lifetime, the four mentioned in the OP are up there as is Todd Kinchen. Since Cannon's return is perhaps the most famous play in LSU history, I think he is obviously up there. My pick is PP barely ahead of TK and EK. There are several honorable mentions for LSU including Honey Badger, Jones, Casanova, Holiday, yes White and others.

That's a tough one. We've had so many good ones. Kennison,Faulk, Kinchen, Martin, Peterson, Honey Badger, but the best to me was Green pre-injury. I think he had the best single season of them all (18.5, 2tds) led the nation in avg.

People forget how productive he and Toe field were at lsu.
DD had 2449 yards and 21 tds at lsu.
Toefield had 2382 and 27 tds at lsu.

Toefield had 19 rushing tds in 2001(2nd alltime for a season).

One of the more challenging OP in a good while. Not too many wrong answers.

Let's bring back the days of two punt returners and put both Peterson and Cannon back there.
