LSU's non conference schedule in 1988:
Texas A&M
Ohio State
Miami (FL)
Tulane
It's amazing how much things have changed since then when it comes to scheduling.

Funny how our fans are basically saying they want to visit the same venues (Hey Joe and Verge are you listening?)

Lets see see...
It has to be a top 25 program but they can't be too good of a team so that we can average 80% wins on them.
They need to be in a place that LSU fans want to go for a game every other year.
They have to be in a fertile recruiting area/
So that leaves us with Cali since that would be the best area to open up a recruiting pipeline. I can't stand USC so beating them would be twice as nice but losing to them once every five years or so would be too painful.
That must leave UCLA? Well, they just don't quite do it for me for some reason/
I guess that Oregon is close enough and I do like the Ducks. They are always ranked high because of their typical pac 12 schedule so a win over them is not only likely but good for the strength of sched.
The Ducks it is then!

As a side note, I really hope this playoff encourages teams to schedule more of these great nonconference games instead of cupcakes for every OOC game. Maybe once the playoff expands once more this will happen.

Notre Dame - We played there I think twice and they played in Baton Rouge like 3 times. Then we played I think twice in Bowl Games and there was talk of a home and home with Notre Dame. Do not know what happened??

As long at it's a true home and home series on each other's own campus I'm happy and willing to make the trip.
NO MORE NEUTRAL SITE GAMES (Atlanta, Dallas, Dallas, Houston, Green Bay)

Also I think it would be cool to see LSU play in their stadium.
Went there in 1985, Dalton Hilliard, Gary James, et al. Believe me it was no big deal. All of the seats were 2x6 boards!
