Took over from Saban and produced a #5, #3, #1 national finish, which has to be the best three year performance in LSU Football History.
Why do RANTards have amnesia about the first three years of the Les Miles era? The best three year span in LSU Football history

I swear Chicken pays SFP to stir the shite on this site to keep the posts coming and the traffic high so that he can sell more advertising.
Either that, or SFP is working on his list of "Topics to bring up on a slow day when I finally get my own radio call-in show in Baton Rouge."

last year when i had my own show i was criticized for being too positive early in the year and too negative later in the year. i have high expectations for the team. i've never said otherwise

If you don't think CLM is a great caoch please list the coaches you do think are great.
I bet I can give the exact same reasons you think CLM is not a great coach that your list is not great as well.
This discussion is very stupid because CLM has only been here 4 years now. Ten years from now lets have this same discussion.

I have absolutely NO issue with any fan having high expectations for LSU. I expect them to be competitive and play at a high level and win just like any other fan. Also, I'm not so myopic to only see positives in a program that I follow, especially in a season marred with them at every turn.
I guess I just see a lot of the threads you post and the first thing I think is "He's bored and looking to start some shite with rantards." You of all people know the hot buttons to get people pissed off and you like to push them. I guess that is your right, just as much as it is my right not to read them or respond. Then again, here I am....responding to your thread.
Well done, sir.

Big names but all were very overrated the year we played them.
i can only say that this is partially true. the only reason VT didnt get into the NC game instead of us is because we beat the fricking piss out of them. overrated? when we played miami i think we really popped their baloon. a big win over us and they are back to being "MIAMI" a big loss to us and now theyre 'that team that used to be good'. ND has sucked for a while now and i think our asskicking of them just really proved it to the world. and ohio state while maybe shouldnt have been in the NC game last year was no pushover in any light.
i guess what im trying to say is that every coach screws up in their career. les miles did it after winning a NC so it looks alot worse than it really is. if you take a minute and think about if we get the D and QB to play at least mediocre next season we can still make a BCS run. we havent broken our leg, just stubbed our toe. the key is to not let it trip you up.
and give miles a freakin chance to redeem himself

What coach in the nation would have had LSU in a BCS game this year, or even say, a 9-3 record, with the QB play they had this year. NO one. Stop bitching and crying over one bad year, and look at what hes done for you. Yall will be better in the future, stop being a little bitch and get over it.
Uh, Nick Saban?
They threw the ball 15-20 times a game, had 9 passing TDs and 6 INTs, and completed 57% of their passes.
Nick Saban was smart enough to win with a running game and a good defense. Les was a dumbass and hired two hacks to coach his D, and he allowed Crowton to call passing situations that were completely and utterly ridiculous that just killed momentum, team spirit, and any possible rhythm for Lee.
That was easy as frick. You fail.

Miami Notre Dame Virginia Tech Ohio State He's the only coach in LSU history to beat Auburn, Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee in the same season. He's done some good things.....why shut your eyes to that?
I agree fo sho. He's just an all around great coach.

I guess Saban took a smart pill since last season. The "great" coach didn't do so well last year, including a MAGNIFICENT coaching performance against ULM!
That was easy too! YOU FAIL.

You're such a moron. Yep, Bama's talent was REEEAAALLL deep last year, huh? You do realize that we have twice the talent they had, but are still going to have the same record, right?
