Sure it was talked about, but your gonna tell me that Pitt beating WV was a bigger deal then this year's debacle????

Yeah, the Arky and UK games made you question things.

I think Les Miles is a great coach because when he believes is his team and their capabilities(last yr - Hester and the the 4thdwns, Dorsey and the line, secondary with drive(stelz), he commits to them and drives their hearts. This year, when our weakness were exposed, he coached more to limit our weaknesses insteaded of driving our power. It could have been worse this year and we will probably be ending our year 8-5. Look who went 8 wins last year. Our probable National Champions Florida. With the hustle I know Miles will provide and the specific talent we have coming in and the raw talent we have to develop, We could be looking at a shot at the SEC championship next year. Not saying its going to happen, but IMO it will. The new DC position will be a good test for him and I'm looking forward to it.

Texas, florida, usc, oklahoma, georgia, fsu, ohio state, auburn, tennessee
all have had around the same talent level the past 4 years. tennesse has fallen off a bit as of late and so has auburn.
what the hell do thease teams have to show for "all that talent" . When you always win its just not the same anymore. THe team will be hungry next year.
I have said all year that the talent we had on the field this year is overrated a bit.

I mean...did we have more talent than Florida in 2006?
definitely
QB: LSU
RB: LSU
WR: LSU
OL: even
DL: even
LB: UF
DB: even

we had more than tennessee in 2005

the more i hear/read about crowton this year, the more i am now leaning towards putting it on miles
especially AU

OU won out, and won impressively. They absolutely destroyed TT, voters like style points.

If it was up to LSU fans, Mack Brown would have been fired in the first 4 years.

i mean it could have, but almost getting blown out by a mediocre non-BCS team is pretty bad

naw they won 9 games...all 9 in the regular season
and UF was rebuilding last year. LSU wasn't this year

So basically you think our offense was better. You are right. It was. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck in that game.
And let's face it....JR was mistake prone. Despite the phantom holding call. Despite the Hester TD not called a TD.....we should have scored and taken control of that game....but JR...the first guy you would mention in terms of talent...is also the first guy you need to blame for losing that game.

So Les is to blame cause JR couldn't handle a snap?

Thanks for not answering my question!!
Also, Texas won won out and won impressively. They destroyed Missouri. Also, I forgot scoring in the last 30 seconds were "style points". Last time I checked, that was being a fricking a-hole

UF also had a Heisman QB and one of the best WRs in college, not a 3rd and 4th string QB and two bad DCs.
