If you can’t see that Sloan is a problem then you’re lying to yourself.

3 picks last night were on Nuss. I’m not saying he isn’t partly to blame.
But the offense has become quite predictable.
From a running perspective we run two things. We run , where we first motion on Taylor to block.
Then we also run a read option in which our QB who refuses to run never keeps the ball.
From a passing standpoint we run far too many guys deep and throw it up. The problem with that is we have no receiver on the team that can get pre-throw separation consistently.
We get into far too many 3rd and longs from poor playcalling.
I get that Sloan is a big time recruiter of Underwood, but I don’t see him being a long term fit for OC if he cannot find a more creative running game.
Josh Williams, as good as a kid as he is will never be it.
Kyren Lacy still has stone hands when it matters most.
Our best receiver is probably Anderson. He needs more touches.
Defensively we were fine if the offense would have held up their end of the deal and had us at 35-7 at half instead of 17-7.

Yup. 1st int all nuss. He had zavion on comeback for first down, or throw away, or run. 2nd one was right read pre snap, great play by atm. 3rd play, same, was right read to dump it... as every route was 20 yds downfield and had immediate pressure at him, lb made great play reading the rb dump coming.
To your point , our scheme is predictable. Run plays seem so easy for teams to just stop, like their in a scrimmage.
And our guys have to out athlete on pass plays, Anderson, lacy, just making plays. Nuss made great throws on all of those plays too... but why don't we go back to anderson, green slants in 2nd half, throw a dedicated rb screen. If we have these amazing tackles get them in space. 3 yrs in and Kelly teams can't run a fing screen.
We can't rely on nuss throwing into 7-8 coverage when dline knows they can get there with 4. We did it all 2nd half. And last scoring drive nuss checked out of every single play call pre snap that was for a gain.

No toss sweeps or end runs. It's is the same running play every time.

Never a screen to be seen either.

Our running plays woulda been better off just kneeling the football for. We aren’t going nowhere when we try.

If the players execute, then that is irrelevant.
What was called would have worked.
