This seems to be a forgotten element to LSU's season. Yes, we have to run the table and take care of business, but when we do, how much will it affect our playoff ranking if Wisconsin wins the BIG10? The computer's would have acknowledged this. If the season as a whole is really the main focus here, why isn't our win over a legitimate WN team being talked about? I guess we will know more in 3 weeks.

Go Badgers, and

Wisconsin's real tests are coming up in the next 4 weeks

it would be great if they win the big 10 and stomp mich state after mich state beats ohio state. would look great for a very young Tiger team! geaux badgers

Their northwestern loss is a real downer though...

I agree 100%, but you can chalk that up to a fluke in my eyes. It won't be the most impressive thing in the world, but a win over any other Power-5 Conference champ has got to mean something in the committee's eyes. I hope that they wouldn't just ignore that, but then again, crazier and certainly more dumb stuff has happened.

Purdue, Iowa, & Minnesota should be wins. It is what they do at home vs. Nebraska is what will get them into the title game.

What is anyone looking for from the committee?

A top 4 ranking. By the end of the season, if we win out, of course.

A two loss SEC West team has a pretty good argument to be in the top 4 if it beat a power-5 conference champion.

Minnesota and Nebraska aren't bad. i'm actually looking forward to the end of the big 10 season. lot of compelling matchups. not the sec, but still fun to watch. still cant believe mich state and ohio state are ranked so high tho. and i hate mich state fans who think they're the real msu. msu is in mississippi!

if MSU wins out and LSU wins out, could LSU enter as a 2 loss non-SEC West champ?

if wisconsin wins out and beats mich state/ohio state in the big 10, that would def help our argument since we beat wisconsin.

but it will be hard to jump oregon, fsu, and tcu/baylor if they win their conferences. might end up being LSU at #5.

That would be great.... AND A sec Champ 2 loss LSU team would get in before a two loss Wisky team......

Not very much because the Big 10 is atrocious.

but big 10 bias holds strong in the media even today
so many voters from the big 10 region and went to big 10 schools, not so much for the committee, but the media, which im sure will influence the committee.

Agreed.

However, If things fall LSU's way and find their way in to the SECG and win, there might be a possibility.

Long long shot of that happening but here's to wishing

Let's just win Saturday!
