After Miles' first season, I always base one or two of my predicted loses in the preseason just for the mere fact that he is on our sidelines.

Sorry, I think he is a wonderful man/person/human being, but an elite, $4mill a year head coach he IS NOT.

This sums up my thoughts EXACTLY

His current paycheck begs to differ.

He is a $4 mil a year coach and will continue to be at LSU for the foreseeable future. Learn to live with it or take you candy arse bandwagon crap somewhere else and give your tickets to some real fans that won't cry all the time.

What are you, 12?

No shite, Sherlock. I know Miles ACTUALLY does make $4 million a year, but if you had any inkling of reading comprehension skills you would realize that I and the previous poster don't think he deserves to be paid that much. I'm still going to go to every home game and almost all road games, I just wish we had a coach who wasn't completely inept. Miles doesn't belong on the same pay level as coaches like Saban and Meyer, and I dare you to prove to me that he does.

His record which is better than Saban's during his tenure at LSU proves it. His MNC proves it. His most 10 win seasons in the HISTORY of LSU proves it.

Give your tickets away Candy arse Bandwagoner someone else deserves them more than you.

Too bad I'm a student and I can't give my tickets away, frick face. If you have really watched LSU for the last 4 years and you really think Miles gets the best out of his players and manages the game well and makes great decisions in-game and deserves a similar pay-check to Saban then you are as delusional as Bama fans.

Who says "candy-arse" anyway. Are you Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson now?

You are the delusional one.

I can tell you are a student. Too bad they don't have a class on LSU football history because you are sorely lacking in any common sense in regards to LSU football.

Glad to hear you don't have tickets because we don't need candy arse bandwagoners like you.

Why would I jump on the bandwagon THIS year of all years. Come on, man. I've been going to games since I was shitting in my diapers. I just really don't like Miles' game management abilities. I think he's a great recruiter, and a great guy, but shite. A "candy-arse" 12 year could manage a game better than him.

ETA- Oh, and by the way, my family has tickets in the south endzone that I get when I graduate. So you'll have to deal with candy arse bandwagoners like me for a while.

Frustrating, but not disappointing. Too many opportunities that were squandered. Not saying we would have won it all (more than a few breaks went our way), but to lose the way we did in those three games takes a lot of the luster off of a ten win season (IF we win the Capital One Bowl).

Worst 10-3 ever? Who knows?

The defense improved from game to game. The special teams had a great year.

The offense showed no improvement.
The offensive coaching showed no improvement.
The organization, time management and execution got worse.

Why can't the Positigers realize that someone should be concerned when a team is not showing improvement from game to game? That in and of itself is the reason that so many are worried about the program.

The silver lining is the great matchup with Penn State that will get tons of attention. If Miles prepares as usual and the Offense finally gets it in gear, then maybe we turn the corner and 2010 will be different.

God I hope so! We need something to shake this funk we are in.

1996 was a pretty poor ten win season.

Indeed... back when Floriduh and Bama were top dogs... deja vu.

We lost to Florida 56-13 in Gainesville. I was there and it was awful. Just awful. Faulk barely got any positive yardage and Spurrier was at the height of his SEC success. The Swamp was crazy that year.

We lost to Bama 26-0 in Tiger Stadium. Another awful game just as embarrassing as the 31-0 whoppin Bama laid on us in 2002.

Thanks for the reminder about 1996. I've been trying to forget. So people bitch about Miles, but at least we were competitive and had a chance to win in the 4th quarter of every game this year. So not the case in 1996...

How kind of you, you whiny bitch. What a sacrifice.

I suffered through Curley's tenure as a student, so count yourself lucky. Enjoy being a student while you can. Maybe some day you'll grow up and realize it was the best time of your life. Even with Curley at the helm, there's no place I'd rather be than Tiger Stadium. One benefit of losing... there's fewer bandwagon whiny bitches around and more seats for the true fans.

As to Miles' salary, get your arse down to CEBA--er Patrick Taylor--sorry I'm old school and take some bidness classes. It's called the job market and Miles makes the going rate. If you don't get a diploma, you'll be flipping burgers making the going rate.

Study hard, whiny bitch.

Holy frick, are you serious? I fully realize that right now is the best time of my life, that's a big reason why I'm on the 5 year plan... I get an extra football season, and there is literally nowhere else I would rather be than in Tiger Stadium. I just don't like Miles' game management and use of personnel. I think he is a great recruiter/leader, though. Is that really that big of a deal? I swear, you're whining more about me whining than I am about Miles.

TS was half empty, I was there too. You prefer that than being an elite program?

Never said I preferred it. That was the ONLY benefit of losing. I prefer crystal footballs and I tolerate the whiny bitch bandwagon fans who probably don't know two words of the Alma Mater.

If I told you I know every word to the Alma Mater would I no longer be a "Whiny little bandwagon bitch?" Please, please, please...
