If we want to stick with Max and TDP, we need to run primarily “ace” sets

Max has said he prefers under center, and TDP absolutely has to have that head of steam. We’re putting square pegs in round holes. You can run the same plays, just go under center.

If we’re dead set on staying in the gun (which I think is a mistake) then we need to go ahead and move to Nuss and Goodwin/Kiner.

So we should change the QB and RBs? Wouldn’t that be easier than uprooting the entire offense?

2nd running play and 3rd passing play were so consistent.

I actually think there is a lot of logic here. Not sure how the rant will react but I think it’s a valid point

Going under center isnt uprooting anything.

The two players for whom it makes the most difference (QB and RB) are already more suited to it.

You can run all the same plays.

Not nearly that easy especially mid season. The entire timing of everything is completely different.

He fumbled one of his only snaps under center.

When did he say that?

That play will put you in short yardage situations all the time unless your opponent picks the play.

Call up O ASAP. He may even hire you sight unseen with no interview. You’ve already contributed more to this team than his sons on staff.

With this offense and if you think he needs to be under center, you gonna need a full back.

At this point, our coaches have to make adjustments to what we’re doing because the initial plan isn’t working. Coaching 101 is simply putting your players in the best position to succeed. Hopefully that’s not asking too much.

Don’t think that’s part of the “Joe Brady offense”

The announcers claimed he liked LSU because at the time we were UC a lot. That it was between us and Wisconsin, two of the most old school offenses.

I mean maybe they didn’t know what they were talking about but it doesn’t seem like something you’d just make up.

I’m not even remotely surprised that Ed recruited and brought on a QB that does not fit his system.

Max under center , I-form , Ace and Pro formation would help the Running game. CEO needs to get back to the basics. All these sets can be used with 3 WR. We don’t have to lose our aggressive passing game, just need to mix up the play calling.

Personally I think the best RB’s aren’t seeing the field. #21 #22.
And #80 #1 needs to be the top options in the passing game.

CEO better get his act together, or he will be following Helton to the unemployment line.
