Would I be extremely happy next year if it happens and anytime I talk about the 2012 season afterwards, yes. But anytime the 2011 season would come up, my thoughts would still be the same. A great season, and a total meltdown in the NC, and the coach blew it, and I still beleive something happened.

If I look at LSU as a whole, I'm happy with things and always will be. But when you break down each season, nothing in the future makes up for tht NC game. Just like nothing that happened bad in the last few years ruined the previous NC's we won.

Getting to NC in 2013 will be extremely difficult and I doubt we will make it

Why is this?

If we shut alabama out this year, run the table again, win in atlanta, and dominate usc in miami i will forget about 1-9-12

I don't see us making it because history shows how difficult it is to do in consecutive years. And I look back at 2007 with a greater feeling than 2011 in spite of records - we won crystal that year and it was special. 1/9 was not just another game. And I also think something happened that caused the team to lose focus because even though the other team played well, that wasn't the same team we saw for the prior 13 games. That game will always bother me for a lot of reasons.

The sting of the 06 Auburn game still is felt even though we won it all in 07 so, I don't think this is going away any time soon.
