If we can somehow get to 12 & 18

How many wins would we most likely need in the SEC Tournament?
I can envision a path to a 9 & 6 record through this 2nd half of league play (12 & 18 overall), and I could see us getting hot entering the tournament.

I could be wrong but I dont think a team with only 12 regular sec wins has ever gotten into the tournament.

If we get 12 SEC wins and make it to the tournament say we win a couple don’t you think we make it to a Regional?

Yes, if 12 & 18, I was thinking winning 2 or 3 in the sec tournament would get us into a regional.

I wouldn't want to be in their shoes with 12 wins. Not a chance I would want to take.

It’s happened but only a couple times. Our RPI isn’t going to be good enough to get in with just 12 wins

I honestly can’t remember. In Mainieri’s last year when we were on the bubble I did a break down of 12, 13, and 14 win teams and how often they got bids

13 wins in conference does not guarantee you make the post season, very borderline
14 does
so at 3-12 right now with 15 SEC games left, they have to win 11 of the next 15 SEC games to hit 14 wins..they can pretty much only lose 4 of the remaining conference games and 3 of those games are against A&M,

Fraid you’re right; this club ain’t going 11 & 4 on this back side, nosir! It’s easier, but it certainly ain’t easy. I can see 9 & 6 and a very slim chance at 10 & 5.
