How about LSU keeps winning and plays Bama again for the title.
We then take the title, their dreams, their recruits, and their women.

Bama will not be 4th. They were favored by 6.5 and lost at home by 5.

I’m not worried if they’re #4 this week, because the PAC XII or Big XII champ should pass them. Bama has only one shot to help their case and that’s beat Auburn. Hopefully, UGA will beat AU to further weaken Bama’s SOS.

Then Bama should send thank you cards and cash gifts to Minnesota for defeating Penn State that same day, Bama received a ton of help not to mention UGA lost to SOUTH CAROLINA and the committee will use "eye test" to justify placing Alabama over Oregon (despite Oregon's played some good teams so far too arguably better than Bama's)

Good lord, have some confidence. Burrow and the team would relish beating Bama twice in one year.
If you're going to hope for something that freezes out Bama, hope that both the PAC-12 and Big 12 champ only have one loss.
Alternately, instead of hoping the Tigers lose, why not just pray that Ohio State boat races whoever they play in the B1G CG, and they and LSU swap #1 and #2 and the Buckeyes get the honor of knocking out the Tide again. That's what I'd look forward to if Bama somehow magically make it.

I didn't want to say it, but, if Bama somehow weasels their way into the playoff, I hope that the committee would at least give us the respect of not having to play them again until the final. If that means dropping us to the #2 spot, then so be it.

I am not sweating any of this right now. It blows that Bama drops just one spot after a loss if it is at 4 but that’s the privilege vote. Once the conference championships are played, they won’t be at 4. Oklahoma bearing an undefeated Baylor next week and Oregon and Utah winning will change that. What happens if Penn St. beats OSU and Minnesota keeps winning and loses in the Championship game? It can happen. Bama will not be able to back into the playoffs unless there is mass chaos.
