LSU fans should be knocking down Alleva's door to get this done.

Why the hell would LSU be afraid to play USC?

We shouldn't be. But money talks, especially right now in Louisiana.

I'm sure this game would generate plenty of money for both schools.

LSU v USC in Dallas in 2011 would be epic.

Why in the world would be give Texas a huge financial windfall like that when both LA and CA are struggling?

Horrible idea. Do a home and home in CA and LA so both states reap the $$$.

A home and home would be great, but not practical for either team right now. A one shot deal to kick off the season in 2011 in Dallas is very doable though, for both schools.

Get it done, and let the fireworks begin.

Cause they play in the SEC. And LSU thinks the schedule is tough enough already. So the OOC is like La tech and other LA powerhouses.

The most attractive choice from my standpoint.

Well, the mouth of the south from LSU rivals is calling out USC. Let's see if LSU does anything other than talk about it.

I know USC will be up for it.

Mine too. Could be a cure for LSU's anemic offense...

It's all about exposure for USC now. They NEED a national coverage game because they're out of the Bowl business for now.

Their fans would love it too. Miles made a comment a couple years back about being careful with OOC scheduling so he wouldn't schedule USC- say what you want.

No, he said LSU has to play in the SEC each year. He doesn't get the luxury of playing juggernauts like Stanford and Cal.

Kiffin needs to shine up the USC image.

He is hoping he can get highly rated guys to come in and play with the same # of players as the AA guys have to.

I wouldnt give him a game.

By the way, I recall from Dandy Don's posts a year ago, that Oklahoma is going to be on the LSU schedule, home and home.

That's big time enough for me.

Here's what Miles actually said. Sounds like he's really scared of USC.

"I can tell you this, that they have a much easier road to travel," Miles said. "They’re going to play real knockdown drag-outs with UCLA and Washington, Cal-Berkeley, Stanford — some real juggernauts — and they’re going to end up, it would be my guess, in some position so if they win a game or two, that they’ll end up in the title [game].

"I would like that path for us. I think the SEC provides much stiffer competition."

Miles was just getting started.

"I can tell you that I would like nothing better than to play USC for the title," he said.
Miles made the comments during an interview last week on New Orleans radio station WWL. The comments were reported by Carl DuBois of the Baton Rouge Advocate.

Miles didn't limit his smack to the Pac-10 and USC. He also took this shot at the Big 12:

"The Big 12 is a conference that might have two really pretty good teams, maybe four. I think the Pac-10 may have one or two really good ones. The ACC certainly, arguably, has some quality teams.

"I don't think there's any conference out there that has as many quality teams as ours."

Stanford is going to be a power if Harbaugh stays there.
They are in the top five for 2011 recruiting.
They put up 55 on USCw last year.
