He wouldn't make the same hires.

And as long as he had Aranda, then we would be happy..

Unlike O, he actually can coordinate an entire side of the ball..

you have to realize that they will grasp at anything to prop up O. after the troy loss there was some saying troy was more talented than the team miles left for O.

Oh I believe it lol, it just baffles me how we continue to have to justify a Troy loss lol and then compare a Maryland loss to it.

Would Herman have beaten Auburn?

Probably.

LSU> Texas and Herman does well versus ranked teams it seems.

Any ways, it's really irrelevant to bring him up. He isn't here and won't be an option any time soon. He's having great success recruiting after year one I believe.

He could fail all day long at Texas and that has no relevance to what he could have done here.

I realized that later, but the response came to my post that had nothing whatsoever that could cause mono. I was rereading my post thinking "wtf does mono have to do with what I posted?"

Didn’t realize that going 6-6 in a mediocre conference was an accomplishment.

Please correct me, but did I once make a comparison about Herman or say anything about Texas being an accomplishment in what I wrote? Oh that's right I didn't, I just sarcastically pointed out how a loss to an B1G team isn't quite the embarrassment as a loss to Troy.

This is a small distinction, but is Maryland in the Big 10 now?

You're correct they are, my mistake, but again how does that make that a more embarrassing loss?

I think one thing being overlooked in the Herman-Orgeron debate is that LSU had a culture of winning while Houston not so much.

I agree completely. Herman took over a program in Houston that had some decent seasons but only won double digit games in 3 seasons since the turn of the century before his team won 13 games in 2015. His first year at Texas wasn't anything to brag about record wise but 4 of the 6 losses were to teams that were ranked at the time they played them and all 4 of those teams were ranked in the top 14 in the final football polls and finished the year with a combined record of 44 wins and 11 losses.

Orgeron took over a program that has finished each year since 2000 with winning records and proceeded to lose 4 games in his first full year in a year when the SEC was terrible aside from Bama and Georgia, and perhaps Auburn.

And how many of Herman's wins were with the WR that played QB? Greg what ever his last name was.

But Space Clownboy has told all of us that Miles left o "high and dry."

It's NOT o's fault!

it's truly amazing watching him give O credit for that 2017 class while also saying O didnt have time to address the oline depth.
and thats not even mentioning that Spacecowboy has totally fabricated a new hire date for O.

Maybe he would Herman lost to a lot of less talented teams then Houston was.

LSU= 52 4 and 5 star players
3 players with a 1st rd grade
Troy= 0 4 star players
0 players with a 7th rd grade

herman has never lost to a team with that big of a talent gap.

facts and shite

lsu has more olineman( the position group everyone shits on from 2017) with a draft grade than TROY's entire roster.

If I ‘m a LSU football player I don’t want my coach kissing me and whispering sweet nothings in my ear

As much as I like the potential for what Herman could do at a place like LSU, if he was the coach here, I'd be signing a petition to stop that kissing crap.

You never heard of Bill Yeoman, Jack Pardee (two coaches in the college football hall of fame), Art Briles or Kevin Sumlin?

Unlike RichMomma's lover, Sumlin actually went 13-1 in his in his last season at Houston.

How many coaches does LSU have in the college football hall of fame? Houston has the same number of Heisman winners as LSU.

briles = 1 season with more than 8 wins
sumlin= 2 season with more than 8 wins

briles had 1 season with a winning record in conf.

yeoman= from 1962-1986 he had 6 seasons with less than 3 losses
11 seasons with 5 or more losses

Wait till next year with Texas. They will not be all you think they will be.You guys love whoever isn't coaching LSU. Sickening. Sick is getting so old! How about trying to be positive for once , you may enjoy it. (MAY)
