...they will be extremely dangerous. I saw a lot of progression on offense last week but still a long way to go. Defense looks great and special teams even better. Hopefully it will be this weekend, but whatever team it is over, it will be a sight for many sore eyes!

To me the only thing holding them back on offense right now at this point is Crowton's ultra conservative play calling. I mean JJ's passes Saturday were on the money, were crisp, and on that long one that RS dropped, that ball had nice touch on it. Hence, all we need is for Crowton to start pulling the trigger, and Miles is promising the passing game will improve. Indeed, if Crowton starts pulling the trigger, it will only open up the running game.

I think we are going to have a good year this year but I dont understand how people are saying that they saw the offense greatly improve last week. Our offense is terrible.

Scoring 29 points against an sec team plying conservative FB contradict's that statement...

Oh and punting only once this last game too...

I just read that JJ was 10 - 16 last week. 3 of his incompletions were flat out dropped. The fact that he only threw 16 times isn't his fault and of the 16, 13 were on the money......I think the offense did get better last week.

If we would just throw some deep fly patterns or post patterns and not worry about INTs or even sacks and let Toliver and Randle do their thing...then the defense loosens a little and our RBs can do their thing.

It's also very obvious JJ is locking on to one receiver...and i dont know if that will ever change. He waits and waits and waits til that receiver gets open...and if not..he runs or has to throw it away.

The roll out pass plays should be his bread and butter...with a couple of choices on only half the field to choose from...plus having the option to run. That seemed to work well Saturday.

No, it's not. It's a bit vanilla and not particularly exciting, but it's not "terrible".

I concur. Crowton for some reason is deliberately holding back this offense or otherwise he is completely incompetent. Whatever the case may be, he needs to get his act together fast or go.

Our offense starts around the 50 every damn drive and you people are jizzing in your pants over 29 points. Good luck getting that kind of field position against the better teams in the SEC.

One thing that we really need to ask ourselves is how many plays that Crowton calls get overruled by Les..problem may not lye in Crowton at all...

How can any of you objectively say that our offense is not terrible. This is not an argument for who should play or who should be the coach. The Stats over the last 15 games dont lie.

We have been outgained in yardage over that time, and we have run less plays than our opponents. Our offense is bad. If it was a game here or there it would be tough to make such a statement but we have a large enough sample size to make judgement.
