Things surely have changed. It would be nice to be a strong team going into the post season every year. I get it having a down year sometimes but "alot" of different parts of the game look like they arent focused. Way too many mistakes and tbh, a lack of athletism by some of the players. Head scratcher.

We are a team that will be dangerous if we make a regional and get it going. Talent is there just have to have it come together at the right point.

I remember having this attitude when I was a young fan and I found out the players would go out and get absolutely hammered during a weekend series. Often they would come out flat in the Sunday game and just suck.
Now that I'm older I just don't care. It is entertainment with kids young enough to be my kids. They won't win it all every year. Overall, as baseball fans, we ARE spoiled. BK was right, just the wrong sport.

I guess we've were spoiled by past teams! After watching Friday and Saturday's games, I was so frustrated I completely ignored the Sunday game to do yard work. At one point, my wife tells me we were losing 7-0.
Then my wife calls me in to tell me we were in the 7th inning and we're tied at 7-7. I dropped what I was doing to go in and watch, but frustration once again knocked that excitement out. We intentionally walk a guy so we can possibly get the double play and Sheeren hits him in the hip, to load the bases. You know the rest!
