Also having preparation time with JJ is crucial. I've said this before, Bama threw the kitchen sink at us on Nov 5 while we showed them very little. The game was close and we relied on coaching and spc teams to beat them. We'll have a lot more in the bag this time around.

LSU Linebacker play

this weighs on my mind most

LSU has a strong D, but the larger percentage of yards against them seems to go against the LBs in some way. Passes to the back out of the back field, especially delays, seem to often burn them for yards at the worst times.

LB play...agree with this. On both sides. We allow TR to drift into the flats uncovered...again and their LB are able to play sideline to sideline. This concerns me. I am sure it concerns the coaches as well.

I can't wait to see Hilliard pound it this time.

I thought you said "Because Saban will have risen from hell . . . "

I like that better.

The game won't have anything to do with Saban or Miles, JJ or JL. This is a ranter argument, Saban vs. Miles, JJ vs. JL. It's always about somebody versus somebody else with you guys, you act like juveniles.

The reason Bama 'could' win is obviously a strong running game with TR. The reason LSU 'will' win is because of superior depth.

I couldn't disagree with that more, coaching plays a huge role. Now the idea that this time Saban will be ready for JJ is stupid. More time to prepare won't make their LB's unslow or keep them from getting tired in the 4th Q because as you mention we have better depth.

LSU has started slow on offense the past 2 games. Can't win doing that against Bama.

Saban has tons of time to prepare for LSU

And finally Alabama is a very good team. Hard to beat a team twice.

A repeat offensive performance like the first half of our last game.

This...we cannot afford another Georgia game 1st half. Unlike the 1st game, I think several touchdowns will be scored this time, and I would hate to fall behind early...don't want to give Bama any momentum...

The game will come down to players executing. The time for coaching will be long over. People put way too much emphasis on the coaching in these games. Unless it boils down to a monumental decision on a particular play, I just don't see the coaches being a big factor during the game.

I still think the teams are as evenly matched as can be..and so is the coaching. Last time, Miles won the chess match...winner of the chess match this time around brings home the crystal...

Yeah, I guess hearing them whine for the last 22 years. I've picked up some of their reasons for "not winning".

LSU has everything to Lose while AL has everything to gain.

The pressure is on LSU in this game not AL ....
