Vandy is not the lame duck of years past. Should we beat them? Yes. Are they much improved over past years? Yes.
If we win, I will be happy and enjoy it, just like I enjoy every win.
unlike the Jackholes on here that can only enjoy a win by 40 points. And even then they find reasons to hate the players and the coach.

though the lack of fundamentals by the D was disturbing, I do think that if Crowton called a more open attack all game long we would be much happier with the result.

I don't think it's necessary to worry about that. There's no reason that Les Miles shouldn't have a game plan to blow Vandy off the map.

Vandy isn't the automatic W they used to be. Their qb can ball. If we don't improve drastically on D we could well be upset. There were flashes of an LSU defense last night but the excessive number of attempted arm tackles baffled me. I hope Chavis puts them through so many tackling drills that they can't even raise their arms.

Vandy should be worse than uw talent wise. I honestly think at home we see Russel shepard and the play book opens up. The defense was better in the second half of the uw game. I see something around 42-17 or 42-20. In that ballpark. If we struggle with Vandy at home.... Bad news...

it was pre-determined by the people who have been complaining. they were going to do what they do best unless LSU played a perfect game, which is impossible by their standards.

and we win by 1, that makes us 2-0. We will make improvement between wk 1 and wk 2, but so will everyone else. Simply get better each week. Hell I don't care if we only win every game by 1 pt, especially if it makes us 14-0.
